  1. CC Manager PPM ERP and Senior Leader ( 8th Dec 2023)

Pls find below some YE feedback.

Would like to thank you very much for the excellent support and help you have constantly provided to the ERP CC (especially the ERP PPM CC). You are always available for support, constantly willing to provide your expertise / advise to the team when needed. You have been a pillar of strength and support – and we know we can depend on you at all times. Thank you for being a great partner to us all through the year and looking forward to another great year with you.

Below are some brief details of the other specific support you’ve provided to us. Thanks once again for your personal support to me too whenever I needed anything.

A) PPM RG Creation – This was a vital GPA action for both Gavin and myself this year. Thank you for being a key driver here:

  1. Situation: Resource Transition from IDE-PPM to IDE-ERP PPM
  2. Action: Anchored the efforts from ERM RG creation, movement. Identified Resource Group (RG) name, RG Owner and worked with PPDE team to create new RG.
  3. Result: Movement of around 130 staff and contractors from PPM to ERP had been completed

B) ECC – This is again an important GPA goal – flawless delivery in the ECC space – for which the right, timely resourcing is vital.

1 Situation:

  1. Situation: ERM RM to support in resourcing on new requirement for the largest pathfinder in Strategic sourcing and to work towards transitioning resources to ECC rate card.

2 Action:

  • Conducted regular standup, Collaborated with natural teams on weekly basis (both internal calls and external calls).
  • SSERM RM Prepared Dynamic Dashboard and also worked with PPDE team to develop brand new KPI view in PBI.
  • SS ERM RM consolidated the ECC Open/Closed demands to have better visibility. Prepared Bi-weekly analysis and aligned with stakeholders on data. JG changes for ECC resources have been done post alignment with stakeholders.
  • Rate Card Change: Transition of standard rate cards to discounted rates by working closely with IBM team,

3 Result:

Thank you for your support with consistent focus on CI and cost savings- L1 / L2 benefits have been realized in multiple ways. Overall, 1 M USD (L1 benefit 970K and L2 benefit of 23K) has been realized for 2023 with ROI of 5.5X. (2024 Saving calculation is in progress)

Thank you for reaching out for the 360 degree feedback which is positively positive from my side based on our interaction, I personally believe you are the DNA of our team who acts as the pillar of support across all areas of ERM.

Our interaction from process improvements to managing critical P1 demands were very fruitful and result oriented, looking forward to be associated with you for all future enhancement requests. 1 thing I always admire in is your delegation of authority skill which is always at the par and you exactly know what who have delegated and to whom and when to follow up on that with a smile and by not creating any pressure.

RPA solution is the benchmark we laid to grab entire IDE level attention, you being the process owner went above and beyond your comfort zone to get this in place, myself and entire team keeps you at high regards for quickly implementing this for the benefit of the team.  I see you treating everyone equally and working in one team mindset while collaborating with other natural teams which helps to find solutions in short span of time.

9) Business Analyst Competency CC Lead ( 14th Nov 2022)

In my last four years , always been struggling with all the ERM/ OST Focal’s to explain the requirements, timely sourcing the profiles from Suppliers however you are definitely an exception for sure. Your experience, able to grasp the pain points, resilience and proactively aligned with Suppliers to source profiles makes you stand out of the given crowd. Even though you were only marked for Strategic Resourcing in the E-Mobility space but you stood out and helped in getting profiles in the other areas of Mobility business, which I can clearly see as a Gap with usual route of ERM/ OST hiring. The quick actions from your side helped in closing some overdue demands. I am looking forward for such initiatives from both sides to streamline our interview process and quick onboarding. Wish you good luck and its privilege working with you.

 Feedback in 2021:

1.Senior Competency Center Manager

You continue to do a great job via collaboration and identifying opportunities for improvement. The work we initiated to improving the contract resourcing seems to already going in the right direction.

I fully appreciate your eagerness to always look for improvements within the process. This attitude will help you a lot when you grow in this organization.

Continue your collaboration and improvement initiatives. I have initiated a work with Continuous improvement team to improve our contract hiring process to remove bottlenecks and wastges. I would be happy if I can involve your during those discussions.

Appreciate your effort till date working with us and keeping us always in top within IDE.

2.Senior Project / Deliver Manager for AD:

AD is a key strategic program with critical stakeholders across the Organization. This is a massive Transformation program that spans over 5 years ….with large stakes over S 500 M  in total. The program is a massive journey from Top-Bottom to transform the business operations and IT. This is a strategic initiatives with key stakeholders at the board level including CIO/CFO.

Nakkeren has been involved in the AD initiatives since inception, and he is instrumental in driving outcomes with respect to the Program resource plan. He is exceptional in communicating requirements to the respective partners with precise baseline data, consolidated from ServiceNow and integrated in Power BI. His ability to discuss and align with stakeholder. I am enthralled with his abilities to lead the discussions with respective partners, thus providing bottom line data to conclude on topics. Say for example. We are currently working with our Systems Integration partner and we need a lot of clarity to conclude on several open positions. Nakkeren was instrumental in laying out a foundational framework to socialize with all key stakeholders involving., Internal, supplier CC leads and many more involved in support the massive resource plan with over >100 resources to be onboarded as per the pipeline. Whilst, we are still working towards this goal, we are really making progress and Nakkeren plays a key role in extending his support by working closely for hiring process.

It’s all coming into place in to one consolidated resource plan and forecast repository using Microsoft Teams (MST), ServiceNow & Power BI desktop tool suite. Nakkeren and I have started working on Power BI desktop tool installation and customization it to automate the resource planning and forecast for all CC Managers, Supplier, External view for partners etc. This would save us team with one common repository for resource forecast visualization. This would help us in quick turn-around and project demands to track real-time via Power BI & Service Now integration. Overall, Nakkeren is instrumental in driving resource plans, established 2-In-A-Box model strategy by working closely with Project Managers and supporting Power BI tool automation planned before end of Sept-2021. He is able to complete resource forecast with a fulfillment strategy and he plays a pivotal role in the multi-million $$ project work that are working on right now. This is one of the key programs in the FY2021-2025 with lot of stakeholders across the executive board driving this initiatives.

3. Senior Sourcing and Supplier Manager

Overall in terms of business partnership with DE with Nakkeren, I enjoy working with him and look forward for working with Nakkeren in 2022.

Following a number of resourcing engagements for CC, Nakkeren and I have been working in lock-step to ensure we are driving the right outcomes for hiring external contractors.

Overall it has been a pleasure to work with Nakkeren and his team.

Nakkeren has been instrumental in highlighting the right requirements and priorities in preparation for the stakeholder engagements to ensure that ERM is helping to drive business continuity. As evidenced by tangible results, as we  have crossed 100 onboardings now and the ERP Asset success story which has been published following the performance we have seen as a result of our joined ERM RM/SSM/ERP CC efforts.

Besides the aforementioned results, Nakkeren is demonstrating a learner mindset ‘in action’ in working with my team and the CC stakeholders to deliver upon our ambition to be a trusted partner, to help the organization to become the leading provider of cleaner energy, and the leader of energy products and services.  Nakkeren is building trust and openness, in coming to our meetings well prepared, with the right data insights to drive effective stakeholder engagement discussions.

The way in which Nakkeren has been approaching our internal stakeholders and the members of the SSM team should be used as a role-model example for the ERM RM organization.

  4. Nakkeren I really like the way you follow up pending actions and take them to a closure. Bringing every one into the same call and clear out many open action items is the key.

It had been wonderful working with you Nakkeren and you really made the difference by being close to your natural teams catering to their needs and closed many action items this year. I wish you all the very best for a successful 2021 and looking forward to work with you in 2022.

8. Senior Competency Center Manager  :

-You worked in full transparency with me and guided your team to work with CC Leads (though the transition) and that is very much appreciated. Several examples such as contractor offboarding for cash preservation, contractor mapping, SNOW/ERM administration walkthrough and adding new features to ERM dashboard precisely attest that you exhibited some solid characteristics across tasks, e.g., resourcefulness (something that we needed the most after Jan 01 this year), eagerness to refine processes, entrepreneurial mindset to explore unknown territories, learn, solve problems.

-I felt you took a sincere interest and full responsibility in your role for items that fell under your scope of management. You understood the critical nature of responsibilities and stayed committed to achieve objectives for yourself and us (ERP CC). 10. Senior Competency Center Manager  and Head of Competency Center – Feedback for Newsletter:

“IF YOU WANT TO GO FAST, GO ALONE. IF YOU WANT TO GO FAR, GO TOGETHER” – African Proverb..

From beginning of Jan, 2020 when we formed this IT Engineering teams, we have never seen a difference in terms of ERP or ERM (While the name itself is just a “letter” different 😊). True example of collaboration is exhibited from both ends. From stabilization to leading the league table, we have done this together. The pro-activeness shown by Nakkeren Natarajan and his team has really helped us to identify the bottlenecks in advance and fix it before time and move forward. The constant eagerness from ERM to improve metrics, ways of working and the tool are really appreciated. The various communication channels, governance calls at every level is helping us a lot to succeed.

  • ERP face up of ERM team has demonstrated Deliver as a Team by collaborating regularly with individual CC Mgrs  and CC Leads to ensure that resource plans were matched to right resources and fitments are done, so that projects are staffed quickly to start.
  • They have also given various analysis to help the team to respond to Business IT in planning the resource plans well in advance and challenged purposefully to align to IT evolution agreed behaviours.
  • Always open to identify redundancies in the process steps and to eliminate them

 Feedback in 2019:

11.Reporting Manager Appreciation in webcast :

..He is a delight to work with. He is extremely diligent, hard working and extremely dependable. I can give him any task and I can expect him to be done and the kind of positive attitude that he brings in,  I have rarely seen in people throughout my career., so thats a great quality that he possesses. With that positive attitude, there have been times I have been doubtful about certain situation and I have been a little pessimistic about things, he all used to pull a rabbit out of hat, he was like full of out of the box thinking….

12. Program Manager:

You should continue the way you are currently working and prioritizing the activities. I found your understanding of business need is extremally good which helps us in getting the right resources and tools assigned on programs.

13. Head of Continuous Improvement and CI Coach:

First let me thank you very much for your contribution to CI this year. Your work around the process handbook was a good example of ‘fixing the basics’. I am sure, and feedback support this, this will help many PMs now and in the future. The work on the process handbook also allowed you to certify as CI practitioner, focusing on the sustain part of the handbook and making sure that in some time we are not looking at a site full of outdated stuff again. So not more than logical that ‘your’ process handbook featured in Ro’s 2x2x2. I see you continue in your CI role really well, picking up a second project around reporting. You are a pleasant character to coach you take feedback well and act up on it. You reach out to me when you fell you need to and I see you play an increasingly active role in the CI community. For the future I can see you grow into a CI ‘mentor’ role for PSO.

14. Senior Project Manager:

  • You are approachable to discuss/resolve any project related tool issues.
  • You maintain a good handshake within teams.
  • You are helpful.

15. Program Manager:

You are approachable, engage closely with the programme, providing right resources at the right time, work with resource development as per Programme need and provide required support. It is pleasure working with you and ask you to continue the same way of working for 2020!

16. Line Manager ( 2019) :

Nakkeren continues to be a consistently solid performer. He set up the first P3O structure in IPPD for the formidable EUP portfolio (& may be within the entire organization) and improved vastly the reporting and financial

aspects. The P3O concept is being introduced in other parts of the PMO world. Initiatives like Portfolio on a page for steerco (which gives one snapshot view of deliverables, dependencies, milestones and RAG status of Programmes and projects), Checklist & Milestone for PMs in EUP, Templates, all in one report to track non finance, EUP Training to PMs were introduced. The Project Accounting Variance has been reduced drastically and as of Sep-19 to less than 3%. Feedback from his stakeholders is very good. He was instrumental in publishing of all the cookbooks related to the 9 standard services within the service catalog along with training all PMO Analysts on it making PPS the first IPPD team to have detailed standard operating procedures for all the services (total 50).

Instrumental in introducing ProFiT tool under the Project Accounting CI initiative with L2 savings estimate of 140K. The CI influenced in bringing down the variance to 8% as of Sep 2019 and on track to have less than 5% variance in 1-2 months of time. He is the only PSO resource in Bangalore to be a certified CIP

Nakkeren played a key role in resourcing work. Tirelessly worked to fulfill demands by bringing in 12 PMO analysts in Bangalore and contributed in contractor hiring in other hubs. He has screened more than 100 profiles this year. He manages 20+ PMO analysts including 5 staff and all his SPS dimensions are above the top quartile benchmark

Feedback in 2016- 2018:

17. Line Manager – 2018

– Delivery: Spearheaded the PMO analyst ramp up efforts. He has screened over 300 profiles, interviewed over 100 candidates and selected 17 out 20 candidates who finally joined  the team in 2018. Managed DS tower engagement; PMs, PLs and PPMs valued his contributions. Volunteered to take over the EUP PMO Lead role and has established a good connect with the stakeholders in quick time. Stakeholder confidence is on the rise. Led the service catalog initiative and helped launch it internally. He also led the proposal writers before transitioning them to Commercial Services

 – Behaviour: Always eager to help, dependable, very approachable, highly customer centric, doesn’t shy away from putting extra efforts or hours

– Above and Beyond: Recruitment is a stretch assignment for him considering his responsibilities towards DS tower and current role of EUP PMO Lead and the sheer volumes we are dealing with. He was also the development team member in PSO Power BI project. He also participated in PPM RM PBI testing & PPM enhancement testing. He is a key player in building the PMO Maturity.
